YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Milton Township man accused of shooting at neighbors and police has been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury.

Kelly Wiseman, 50, was indicted Thursday on four counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony; improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school safety zone, a second-degree felony; discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises and tampering with evidence, both third-degree felonies; and aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor.

The charges stem from a July 30 incident where Wiseman was accused of driving past a home on Princeton Road and telling the people there, “You’re the next target,” before driving off.

Wiseman then shot a gun off in the woods near their house, and as neighbors were talking to police, more shots were fired, reports said.

Reports said the neighbors told police Wiseman has done that before.

A SWAT team was called in and Wiseman was taken into custody without incident.

Wiseman was arraigned in Mahoning County Area Court the next day on the aggravated menacing charge and released after posting $1,250 bail, according to court records.
