    2 dead after Saturday morning fatal crash

    PERRY TWP., Ohio (WKBN) — Two people are dead after a fatal crash in Perry Township Saturday morning.

    The crash took place just after 8 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Georgetown Road. Reports state a Ford Fusion had gone left of center and struck a Toyota Sienna head on.

    Three people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals while another was flown by helicopter. The driver of the Ford and the driver of the Toyota both suffered injuries, reports state.

    Two passengers of the Toyota, Richard Hiner, 87, and Joanne Hiner, 89, died at the hospital as a result of their injuries, according to authorities.

    The crash is still under investigation and police say more details may be released as they become available.
