Canfield standout sets 30-year old school record

MEDINA, Ohio (WKBN) – Canfield golf standout Mick Ambrose broke the school record by shooting a 7-under 65 at the Brunswick Tournament.

The event took place on Monday afternoon and was held at Fox Meadow Country Club in Medina, Ohio.

The previous Canfield program record of 68 was held for more than 30 years. It was originally set by former Cardinals standout Scott Porter all the way back in 1993.

The Canfield Golf Team returns to action on Friday at Sectionals.
