BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man accused in a domestic violence incident pleaded not guilty in Boardman court on Tuesday.

Aaron Rose is being held on $2,500 bond.

On Friday, police surrounded a home on Alverne Drive after receiving a report that Rose pointed a gun at a family member and then threatened to kill someone.

Officers found Rose in a wooded area and arrested him.

Aaron’s father, Herbert Rose, was also arraigned Tuesday on charges related to the incident. A pretrial in his case is set for Oct. 3.

Police said Herbert was involved in a scuffle with officers after refusing to obey commands to leave the area.

Brian Oehlbeck and Chelsea Simeon contributed to this report.
