( WJET/WFXP )– PennDOT wants to know what the public has to say on their construction and maintenance services in the Commonwealth and has set up an online survey to gauge it.

PennDOT announced the online survey on Tuesday after the 2024 construction season included 303 bridges being put up for bid and over 3,100 miles of roadway being repaired.

Two Mercer County schools named National Blue Schools

The survey includes 24 questions about how they received PennDOT roadway information and how often they meet or exceed expectations in construction and maintenance activities along with experiences with reporting concerns to the department, and whether or how they use the state’s 511PA traveler information services.

“PennDOT is working hard for Pennsylvanians every day, and work on our roads and bridges is one of our largest services in our communities,” PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll said. “This survey is one way the public can help us find successes, potential improvements, or educational opportunities.”

Erie VA Medical Center housed 79 homeless veterans through 2024 fiscal year

Pennsylvanians have a limited time to express their thought as the survey is only available until October 22 and can be taken online here.

We’ve been giving them public feed back and nothing has yet to be done, what makes them think that them asking is going to change anything?
