YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A woman who pleaded guilty to a shooting in December was sentenced Wednesday to at least four years in prison.

Tyasia Boykin, 30, was sentenced by Judge Anthony D’Apolito in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on a charge of assault with a firearm specification.

Boykin was originally charged with felonious assault for a Dec. 8 shooting that wounded a woman on Robinwood Place.

Police said the shooting followed an argument.
