COITSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – Law enforcement personnel from several different agencies are served a search warrant Friday morning at a 91 Coitsville-Hubbard Road property.

The property includes a former church.

Police from Campbell and Coitsville, as well as the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office, were present.

Chief Deputy William Cappabianca said the warrant was served after a year-long joint investigation with the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Force and Law Enforcement Task Force.

Cappabianca said five people have been detained and charges are forthcoming.

The five people were living inside the church. He also said people have been calling Coitsville police about activity at the property, but he wouldn’t say what the activity was.
