CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – The headless horseman will ride again as the Legend of Sleepy Hollow will be re-created at Greene Eagle Winery in Cortland.

That performance is just a small piece of the entertainment.

They’ll be chucking pumpkins with their pumpkin launcher, and there’s a haunted hayride. There will be food and other vendors on site, too, as well as a costume contest.

Those who attend are asked to bring a lawn chair to watch the show.

Greene Eagle Winery owner Dale Bliss said people come from out of state to see the performance, but he makes sure to give back to his community.

“This is our 14th year. There is an entrance fee to get in. It’s $5, but 7 and under are free,” said Bliss. “We always give back to the community. This year, we’re giving back to our local high school, Maplewood, and the Music Boosters program. We’re always glad to see new faces, so come on out and enjoy the festivities.”

The re-enactment starts around 6 p.m. Saturday. Another show is also set for next Saturday.
