    (WHTM)– abc27 created a list of all the important dates before Election Day on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, to ensure your vote counts.

    Who is running in Pennsylvania?

    The ballot for the 2024 United States general election includes races on the federal and state level.

    U.S. Presidential Election candidates : Donald Trump (R), Kamala Harris (D), Chase Oliver (Libertarian), Jill Stein (Green Party)

    Candidates for U.S. Senate: Bob Casey (D), Dave McCormick , (R), John Thomas (Libertarian Party), Leila Hazou (Green Party), Marty Selker (Constitution Party).

    PA Attorney General: Eugene DePasquale (D), Dave Sunday (R), Robert Cowburn (Libertarian Party), Richard Weiss (Green Party), Justin Magill (Constitution Party), Eric Settle (Forward Party).

    PA Treasurer: Erin McClelland (D), Stacy Garrity (R), Chris Foster (Forward Party), Nickolas Ciesielski (Libertarian Party), Troy Bowman (Constitution Party).

    PA Auditor: Malcolm Kenyatta (D), Timothy DeFoor (R), Reece Smith (Libertarian Party), Eric Anton (American Solidarity Party), Bob Goodrich (Constitution Party).

    When is the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania?

    The last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania is October 21.

    You can register to vote online or mail or deliver a voter registration form to your county election office or one of many government offices .

    To be eligible to vote in Pennsylvania, you need to have been a U.S. citizen for at least a month prior to an election, a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district where you register and vote for at least a month before the next election, and be at least 18 years old.

    When is the last day to request a mail ballot?

    The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 29. Your county election office must receive your application by 5:00 p.m. at the latest.

    If you miss the Oct. 29 deadline to apply for a mail ballot due to an emergency, you may still be able to obtain one. Visit here for more information on how to get an emergency absentee ballot .

    When is the last day to request an absentee ballot?

    You can request an absentee ballot if you are out of your municipality on Election Day or if you have a disability or illness that prevents you from going to your polling location on Election Day.

    An application for an absentee ballot must be completed by Oct. 29 at 5:00 p.m.

    When is the mail-in and absentee ballot submission deadline?

    Mail-in or absentee ballots must be received by your county board of elections by 8:00 p.m. on November 5 (Election Day) at the latest.

    How to find your polling place.

    Visit the State Department’s website here to find the polling location closest to you. Just fill in the information and you will be directed to your closest polling location.

    What time do polls open and close in Pennsylvania?

    On Election Day, November 5, polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m., but voters who are in line at 8:00 p.m. will still be able to vote.
