FARRELL, Pa. (WKBN) – After falling to 1-4 after its narrow Steel Bowl loss (14-7) to Sharon, Farrell posts an impressive 38-0 victory over Wilmington.

The tough-luck Steelers have lost three games this year by a combined total of 12 points.

It didn’t take Farrell long to register their first points of the night as Juelz Johnson hauled in a 24-yard pass from Aaron Pegues to give the Steelers the early lead.

Later in the opening frame, Johnson goes in from 2-yards away. After a Pegues’ two-point toss, Farrell goes ahead 14-0.

Midway through the second quarter, Johnson – once again – scores; this time from 56-yards out to give Farrell a 20-0 advantage.

Johnson closed out a brilliant first half by throwing a 4-yard touchdown to Zameere Thomas with nine seconds remaining to close out the first 24-minutes up 26-0.

At the tail end of the third quarter, Johnson scored his fifth touchdown overall on a 2-yard touchdown run to lift Farrell to a 32-0 lead.

With under three minutes to play, the Steelers’ Dorean Cain finished things with a 55-yard interception return for a score.

The Greyhounds (3-2) had won three of its first 4 games before its loss to Farrell.

The Steelers will next play on Friday at home against Kennedy Catholic. Wilmington will play its final road game of the season next Saturday at Reynolds.
