    OVI checkpoint planned in Austintown Friday night

    AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There will be an OVI checkpoint in Austintown Friday night.

    The checkpoint will be on N. Canfield Niles Road near Hollywood Gaming from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

    The Mahoning County OVI Task Force will be working in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and other police officers.

    There will also be various saturation patrols throughout Mahoning County this weekend.

    If you’re planning to drink, drivers are encouraged to make arrangements to get home safely.
