NEW WATERFORD, Ohio (WKBN) – Max Hawkins ran for 210 yards and scored five times during Crestview’s 57-7 victory over Brookfield.

Hawkins led the Rebel rushing attack that compiled 363 yards on the ground. Jake Noling added a 52-yard touchdown run to open the scoring in the first quarter for Crestview.

After suffering through a 27-9 setback in the opener at Western Reserve, Crestview has won their last five games.

The Rebels’ defense allowed just 74 yards of offense as the Warriors were able to move the sticks on first-down conversions just four times.

Rico Smith scored Brookfield’s lone touchdown in the third quarter on a 48-yard run.

The Warriors fall to 1-5 as they’ll return home next week to face rival LaBrae on Friday.

Crestview (5-1) will hit the road next Friday when they’ll meet Newton Falls.
