McDonald’s defense causes havoc; posts 4th win

McDONALD, Ohio (WKBN) – After falling to a pair of unbeatens Clearview and Western Reserve by a combined 14-points, McDonald has posted back-to-back victories after their 35-0 win over Waterloo to improve to 2-1 in the MVAC Scarlet Tier and 4-2 overall.

Waterloo has dropped each of its past four games.

Kyle Puckett threw for two touchdowns (43, 31) and Tobias Domitrovich ran for another two scores for the Blue Devils.

McDonald’s defense held the Vikings to just 138 total yards of offense on 48 plays while forcing five turnovers.

Next week, the Blue Devils will play host to Lowellville. Waterloo will return home to face Jackson-Milton.
