Girard hangs on to defeat Lakeview, 13-6

CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Girard held off a late effort Friday by host Lakeview to down the Bulldogs 13-6 at Don Richards Field.

The Bulldogs (4-2) had the ball inside the 10 at the end of the game but could not score.

It was Lakeview who jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the second quarter over the Indians (4-2). The score stayed that way until halftime.

Girard tied the score at the 6:06 mark of the third quarter and took the lead just five minutes into the fourth quarter.

Girard will host South Range in Week 7. Lakeview will visit Struthers .
