    Calcutta Fire Department asks for donations for hurricane victims

    CALCUTTA, Ohio (WKBN) — Earlier this week, First News reported the Calcutta Volunteer Fire Department is helping those affected by Hurricane Helene .

    The department is now asking for donations to take to Asheville, North Carolina. Some of the things they’re asking for is non-perishables, water, feminine products and more.

    On the department’s Facebook page , it said collections will be taken from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. If no one is there to collect the items, they say a black box trailer will be out front to put the items in.
