BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) — Cleveland Browns rookie defensive lineman Mike Hall Jr. has been suspended five games without pay by the NFL for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

The punishment stems from his arrest this summer for a domestic altercation.

He is eligible for reinstatement on Monday, Oct. 7, which means he has already served four games of the suspension.

Hall was charged with domestic violence on Aug. 13 following the incident involving his fiancee at the home they share in Avon, Ohio.

The former Ohio State standout recently pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly conduct last month. He was given a 30-day suspended jail sentence, fined $250 and given two years of monitored time.
