Following an interception, the Blue Devils marched down the field early in the second quarter to score on a Tobias Domitrovich three-yard run.

Just before the half, Jayden Taylor raced 60-yards to pay dirt to open the lead up to 21-points heading into the intermission (21-0).

Midway through the third quarter, Lowellville cut into McDonald’s lead on a Geno Perry 7-yard touchdown toss to AJ Boehlke to close the gap to 21-6.

The Blue Devils tacked on another score as Drew Zajack pushed his way in from 2-yards away.

Despite trailing by four scores, the Rockets weren’t backing down. Ricky Willrich threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Josh Pazel. Lowellville followed it up with a two-point conversion to cut into the deficit 35-14.

On the ensuing drive, McDonald’s Taylor scored his third rushing touchdown – from 4-yards – of the night.
