Balog, Ursuline keep rolling in sixth straight victory

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Joe Balog scored three touchdowns as Ursuline kept on rolling Friday night in a 37-7 victory in a ‘battle of the Irish’ against Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary.

It was Ursuline’s sixth consecutive victory.

The game was played at Stambaugh Stadium and had a delay in the first quarter due to an issue with the lights.

Ursuline took a 37-0 lead into half behind Balog’s three scores. Jy’Quise Liason and DC Ferrell also added a touchdown apiece.

Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary (1-6) will host Harvest Prep in Week 8. Ursuline (6-1) will visit Villa Angela-St. Joseph.
