Warren Police Department will be conducting training at a vacant home on Atlantic Street NE from about noon until 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Howland Township Police Department will also be conducting training Wednesday at an unspecified time on East Market Street in the area of Avalon Inn Grand Resort.

The departments say the training will include the use of low-grade explosives, which do not pose a threat to public safety but may be heard in surrounding neighborhoods.
