Ohio Lottery player wins $50,000 in Columbiana County on scratch-off ticket

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN)- A lucky Ohio Lottery player won big at a local gas station, according to a press release.

The player won $50,000 playing the scratch-off Hit It Big. The ticket was purchased at the Circle K on the 300 block of North Market Street in Lisbon.

The Ohio Lottery said that after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will receive approximately $36,000.

The Ohio Lottery said that Hit it Big is a $10 scratch-off with a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of Tuesday, the Ohio Lottery has three top prizes remaining in the game.
