Repair work to cause lane restrictions along Madison Ave. Expressway

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — There will be lane restrictions along the Madison Avenue Expressway as crews work in the area.

According to a news release from Youngstown Deputy Director of Public Works Charles Shasho, crews are repairing the bridge parapet wall at the Wirt Street overpass, beginning Monday.

During this time, westbound lane restrictions will be in place on the Madison Avenue Expressway, between Belmont Avenue and the Interstate 680 north ramp.

The restrictions will be in place for about two weeks, according to Shasho.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling through the work zone.
