YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Animal Charity of Ohio has its hands full with several disturbing abuse cases.

On Wednesday afternoon, humane agents took in nine dogs and cats from a house on Winona Drive on Youngstown’s south side. Workers say the animals had all been starved and kept in poor conditions.

They also took in three more Wednesday afternoon from a home on the north side.

This comes on top of a case involving ten more dogs brought in last Friday from an address on S. Dunlap Avenue.

The animals are now all being cared for at Animal Charity’s facility in Boardman.
