Cardinal Mooney holds sendoff for state golfers

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Cardinal Mooney held a sendoff Wednesday afternoon to celebrate golf standouts that are heading to compete at the OHSAA golf state tournament.

Junior Katie Pregibon is set to compete at Firestone Country Club – Fazio West Course in Akron, Ohio. The event runs Oct. 13-14.

Boys team members include: Alex Eckstein, Dante Turner, Tyler Guerrieri, Elias Lyras and Constantine Stamp.

The Division III Boys State Golf Tournament will take place on Oct. 11-12 at North Star Golf Club in Sunbury, Ohio.

Cardinal Mooney is coached by Mary Theresa Bellino.
