    MASURY, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Richard L. Moore, age 81 of Masury, passed away peacefully at Addison Healthcare Center in Masury on Wednesday October 9, 2024.

    Richard, known as “Mo” was born November 4, 1942 in Sharon, Pennsylvania.  a son of Walter & Florence Moore.

    He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School .

    He was a truck driver for various companies.

    Mo enjoyed drag racing, cars, and his beloved dog Missy.  He was a member of Youngstown Rod and Custom and several other car clubs.  Mo was always on the go, and had many friends all over the country.  He always said, he never met a stranger he didn’t like.

    He also was a veteran of the United States Army.

    Mo will be sadly missed by his daughter, Toni Johnson of Sharon, Pennsylvania.

    Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife the former Norma Dawes, and brother William Moore.

    There are no calling hours or services.

    Mo will be laid to rest next to his wife at West Side Cemetery in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania.

    Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

    Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home’s website at www.stewart-kyle.com to share memories and condolences.

    A television tribute will air Thursday, October 10 at the following approximate times: 7:10 a.m. on FOX, 12:22 p.m. on WKBN, 5:08 p.m. on MyYTV and 7:27 p.m. on WYTV. Video will be posted here the day of airing.
