    NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Anna M. Gregory, 94, passed away peacefully at the Haven Nursing Home in New Castle on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

    Anna was born August 4, 1930, in Petersburg, Ohio, daughter of the late George and Anna Mae Varholik Kallas.

    She was a 1948 graduate of Bessemer High School.

    On June 11, 1949 she married her husband, Marvin J. Gregory. Anna was a devoted housewife; she put the needs of family before herself.

    She took care of her husband for ten years before he died on February 10, 1994. She enjoyed baking, especially pies and nut rolls, sewing, and making clothes. She also enjoyed crafts and painting.

    Anna faithfully attended Lighthouse Baptist Church, where she was the financial clerk, and taught Sunday School.

    Anna is survived by, her children, Elaine M. Brown, and Glenn L. (Grace) Gregory, and her daughter in law, Bonnie Gregory. Anna is also survived by, her grandchildren, Sonya (David) Eurich, Elizabeth Gregory, Alissa (Bart) McClelland, Shirley Gregory and Adrianna Gregory, along with her great grandchildren, Camden McClelland, Adelyn McClelland, and Karissa Eurich.

    In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by her son, Robert Gregory, an infant daughter, Arlene, and her siblings, John Kallas, Steve Kallas, George Kallas and Mary Gresick (Stanley).

    Visitation will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, 203 Oak Street in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Anna will be laid to rest in Westfield Presbyterian Cemetery.

    A television tribute will air Friday, October 11 at the following approximate times: 7:10 a.m. on FOX, 12:22 p.m. on WKBN, 5:08 p.m. on MyYTV and 7:27 p.m. on WYTV. Video will be posted here the day of airing.
