Lela C “Lee” Cook III, Bristolville, Ohio

BRISTOLVILLE, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Lela C. Cook III, known as Lee, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 66.

Lee was born on January 16, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, and departed this world at home after a period of failing health, surrounded by the love of his family.

Lee was a proud graduate of James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville, Ohio, class of 1976.

He made his career as a professional truck driver seeing the country as he worked.

Lee played bass in a band, The Nighthawks, at the local bars. His hobbies included fishing, boating, and hunting – interests that reflected his love of the great outdoors.

Lee leaves behind his devoted wife of 37 years, Denise Rezabek-Cook; his sister, Debbi (Joe) Miller-Markham of Freedom Township; his brother, Keith (Cindy) of Rocky Mount, Virginia; his stepmother, Diane Cook of Ravenna and his best buddy, J.J.

He was preceded in death by his father, L.C. Cook II; his mother, Mary Cook and his brother, Donny Cook.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cortland Moose Lodge #1012 in Mecca, Ohio.
