He won NBA titles with San Antonio in 2014, Toronto in 2019 and the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020. and was a starter on all three of those clubs.

After winning a national championship in the college ranks at North Carolina, Green was originally selected by the Cavaliers with the No. 46 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. He was waived by Cleveland after just one season, before signing with San Antonio.

He returned to Cleveland, appearing in 8 games for the Cavaliers during the 2022-23 season.
