    Weather forces change to Guardians-Tigers ALDS Game 5

    CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Major League Baseball announced on Friday afternoon that Game 5 of the American League Division Series between the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers has been moved up due to forecasted inclement weather.

    First pitch is now slated for Saturday at 1:08 p.m. at Progressive Field. The game will be televised on TBS and streamed on Max.

    Ace pitcher Tarik Skubal will be on the mound for Detroit, while Cleveland will counter with Matthew Boyd for the winner-take-all game.

    The winner of Saturday’s game 5 will advance to face the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series.

    Game one of the best-of-seven ALCS is set for Monday at 7:37 p.m. at Yankee Stadium. It will be televised on TBS/TruTV/Max.
