    NILES, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Former Niles resident, David Ronald Williams, 71, died Thursday, October 3, 2024, at his home in Naalehu, Hawaii.

    He was born February 28, 1953, in Warren, son of Kenneth, Sr. and Jean Boyd Williams.

    He leaves companion, Mary Ream and sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Pytlik, JoAnn (Lamar) Patterson, Marilyn (Paul) Graff, Barbara (Robert) Cross and Donna (Michael) Carrino.

    He was predeceased by parents; brothers, Kenneth and Donald; sister, Patricia Solida and two nephews.

    Dave was a 1971 graduate of Niles McKinley High School .

    He was an Air Force veteran and former member of Niles and Girard Presbyterian churches. He had served as Master in the Girard and Vienna Masonic Lodges.

    In Hawaii, he was Senior Warden of the Kona Lodge and Tiler of the Kilauea Lodge in Hilo and the Hilo Valley Scottish Rite.

    He was a member and lay speaker at Kauaha’ao Congregational Church UCC in Waiohinu, Hawaii.

    He owned Dave’s Equipment, serving garages on Hawaii’s four large islands.

    A Celebration of Life in Hawaii is planned.
