Patricia R. Kosarko, Cortland, Ohio

CORTLAND, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Patricia R. Kosarko of Cortland entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Cortland Health.

She was born April 6, 1936 in Warren, the only child of the late Ray and Florence (Carpenter) Edney.

Patricia was a 1954 graduate of Geneva High School. She went on to nursing school before landing as a sales representative at Johnsonite-Tarkett where she was employed for 25 years.

Patricia was a hard worker who enjoyed snowmobiling, travelling and spending time with her sons and grandchildren. She loved all the Cleveland sports teams, especially the Indians and enjoyed the fact that she was able to say she attended the 1948 World Series. She was a fan of the Blaney family, with a passion for car racing and attended several Indy 500 races in her lifetime. At the age of five, her aunt, Hazel Flower, taught her to play the piano, and she continued to tickle the ivories most of her life. Patricia enjoyed all sports, but excelled at bowling and has numerous trophies from her years of competing.

She was a member of Howland United Methodist Church.

Precious memories of Patricia live on with her sons, Brian and Michael Kosarko, both of Cortland, as well as, her two grandsons, Michael S. Kosarko of Cortland and Darnell Yeager of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Kosarko and a daughter-in-law, Melissa Kosarko.

There will be a private graveside service at Brownwood Cemetery at a later date.
