    WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Robert “Bob” L. Biggs, 89, of Warren, Ohio passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of Thursday, October 10, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family.

    Robert “Bob” L. Biggs was born June 6, 1935, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to Earl F. and Mary V. Brown Biggs.

    Bob moved to Ohio, where he attended Lordstown schools .

    He went on to become a master plumber, retiring from Antenucci Plumbing.

    Bob married the love of his life, Dolores, and together they had three daughters, Darlene (David) Hitch, Denise (Brian) Duffy, and Traci (Edward) Sersich. Bob lived a beautiful life, devoted to his family and his faith. He was a lover of the Lord and an active member of The First Church of God.

    Bob enjoyed the beauty of nature, gardening, taking care of his yard, and making friends with the squirrels and birds. He was an amazing cook, known especially for his hot peppers, which he generously shared with family and friends. Family dinners were a cherished tradition, with Bob always cooking for his loved ones.

    He was meticulous in everything he did, always striving for perfection. Throughout Bob’s life he had many adventures including cart races, camping, fishing, traveling across the country and abroad. He had a big heart and enjoyed helping others, even volunteering to deliver for Meals on Wheels.

    Bob will be deeply missed by his family, including daughters, brothers, Larry “Butch” (Marge) Biggs of Lordstown, OH, Richard (Theresa) Biggs of Lordstown, Ohio and Gary (Debbie) Biggs; sisters, Carol (Ron) Kones, Mary Ann Harshman, Betty Webb, Linda Cortese and Pam (Cliff) Baker; grandchildren, Natalie Smith and Aimee Noble; Rachael and Aaren Rhine, Emily Mahan, Eddie and Katie Sersich, and Zac (Kameron) Sersich; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ian, Avery, Jenna, Grayson, Asher, Anthony, Dominic, Sebastian, Theo, Amelia, Stella, Nicholas, and Ivy.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores; sister, Nancy Huffman; brother, Earl Biggs, Jr.; son-in-law, David; and grandson, Jason. Bob also spent many cherished years with his special friend Mary Lutz, who was very dear to his heart. His legacy of love, generosity, and dedication to family and faith will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

    Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home .

    Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the funeral home.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the First Church of God, 1951 Parkman Road NW, Warren OH 44485, in Bob’s memory.

    A television tribute will air Sunday, October 13 at the following approximate times: 6:27 p.m. on WYTV and 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV. Video will be posted here the day of airing.
