Southern gets big win in playoff push after 0-3 start

SALINEVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – Southern Local picked up a major win Friday night as they look toward the playoffs, defeating Valley Christian 31-14 in Salineville.

The Indians improve to 4-4 on the season after beginning the season 0-3, while Valley Christian falls to 6-2.

The Indians were led by Timmy Potts ‘ three total touchdowns in the game, two on the ground and another passing.

Valley Christian (6-1) will host United in Week 9. Southern (3-4) will visit Lisbon .
