Police: Man shot while pulling out of driveway on Youngstown’s west side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Evidence markers covered a section of a west side Youngstown street Friday night, all aimed at a car that was pulling out of a driveway.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on N. Dunlap Avenue between Mahoning and Oakwood avenues in the vicinity of the west side water tower.

Police say a man was pulling out of a driveway when shots were fired at his car.

The man was shot in the leg and hospitalized.

Twenty-three evidence markers showed where the shell casings landed.

No one has been arrested.
