    Joseph John Kromka, Jr., New Castle, PA

    NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Joseph John Kromka, Jr., 79 of New Castle, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2024, in his residence.

    Mr. Kromka was born December 4, 1944, in New Castle, a son of the late Joseph and Stella (Dombeck) Kromka.

    He graduated from Shenango High School in 1962.

    He worked as a welder at Pennsylvania Engineering (PECOR), New Castle, for many years.

    Joe was a member of Holy Spirit Parish – St. Mary’s Church and formerly a longtime member of Ss. Philip and James Parish, both of New Castle.

    He loved being outdoors, especially when deer or turkey hunting, and while fishing on his boat.

    He is survived by a sister, Helen Kromka of New Castle and several cousins.

    In keeping with Joe’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Parish- St. Camillus Church.

    Interment will be in Ss. Philip and James Cemetery, Slippery Rock Township.
