WARREN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – Two Warren Township police officers have been fired following accusations they entered a woman’s home without a warrant .

Township trustees unanimously voted to terminate Officers Erich Setele and Travis Sheese on October 10.

Trustee Ed Anthony says their termination follows the completion of an internal investigation, which revealed violations of departmental conduct, misfeasance and malfeasance.

Setele and Sheese were originally placed on administrative leave following the incident in August at a home on Martin Street SW.

According to a police report, after responding to a domestic-related call in the township, the township’s officers — assisted by two Warren Police officers — went to the home to look for Doria Johnson’s son.

Johnson told First News her son didn’t live there and the officers shouldn’t have gone inside.

She said they searched her home with guns drawn while her teen daughter and two young grandchildren were there.
