Huntington Bank celebrates opening of Youngstown branch

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There is a new place to bank in downtown Youngstown.

On Tuesday afternoon, Huntington Bank held a grand opening celebration at its new Federal Plaza branch located on Market Street, across from the International Towers.

Mayor Tito Brown was there to welcome the bank back to downtown.

Huntington was in the same location until 2021 when it moved to a much smaller spot inside the Stambaugh Building.

That decision came after the mayor said the city would stop using Huntington as its primary bank if it didn’t reconsider.
