    Richard H. Liebhart, Salem, Ohio

    SALEM, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Richard H. Liebhart, 97, died at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by his family.

    Richard was born July 29, 1927, in Salem, son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Stieger) Liebhart.

    Richard retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1987 after 25 years as a postal clerk.

    He served in the U.S. Navy from September 1945 until he was honorably discharged in September 1949.

    Richard is survived by his daughters, Sandy Fultz of Kent, Ohio, and Linda Quinn of Fairfield, Conn.; his granddaughter, Caitlin Quinn of San Francisco, Calif., and grandson, Brendan Quinn of Washington, D.C.; his brother Walter Liebhart of Salem, and many nieces and nephews.

    He was predeceased by his wife, Doris, whom he married on February 9, 1952. He was also predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.

    A private service will be held.
