He was an avid NASCAR and Ohio State football fan. He loved taking care of his yard, fixing cars, and decorating and cooking for the holidays, earning him the nickname Clark W. Griswold for decorating. Clem loved old cars and knew every single make and model. He loved oldies music and lately was into watching all the cooking shows on TV.

Clem is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Carol Davis, with whom he got to spend 48 loving years together; their seven children, Kimberly (Joe) Andrews, Robert (Annamarie) Davis, Paul (Tara) Davis, Joseph Rock, Elizabeth (Tim) Davis, Courtney (Rodney) Davis and John (Paula) Rock; his grandchildren, Joey Rock, Bailey (Leon) Rock, Logyn Davis, Olivia Andrews, Emily Andrews and Wren Davis; his extended loving grandchildren, Jordan, Kylie, Jackie and Vinnie and his sister, Peggy Whitacher. Clem also had many nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Leotti Davis; his father, Robert Davis; his sisters, Diane Samoros and Nancy McCullogh and his brothers, Merle and Thomas Davis.

We would like to thank Dr. Scott Tofil for his years of dedication in taking care of Clem’s health. We would also like to thank all the nurses at the St. Joe’s CHF Clinic, Hospice of the Valley, Mercy Health therapies and a special extra thank you to Kathy Myers and Jim Patterson, John and Paula Rock and Ryan Hagar for all their help.

Calling hours are 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2024 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Ed Stafford officiating. All who knew and loved Clem are welcome to attend and celebrate his terrific life.
