    Firefighters battle large barn fire in Bazetta

    BAZETTA Twp., Ohio (WKBN) – Fire destroyed a barn in Trumbull County on Friday morning.

    Firefighters were called to the 2000 block of Niles Cortland Road around 6 a.m.

    No animals were in the building at the time.

    Firefighters from Cortland, Howland Champion and the Youngstown Air Base were assisting the Bazetta Township Fire Department at the scene.

    The building was a total loss, but it is insured, according to firefighters on the scene.

    The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
