Darlene A. Cribbs, New Castle, PA

NEW CASTLE, Pennsylvania (MyValleyTributes) – Darlene A. Cribbs, 80 of New Castle, Pennsylvania, formerly of Sharpsville, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Quality Life Services, New Castle.

She was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on June 25, 1944 to John Cearfoss and Elizabeth (Orres) Cearfoss.

Darlene graduated from New Castle High School .

She worked at Packard Electric for 38 years and retired in 2006.

Darlene was married to Richard Cribbs on September 11, 2004, he preceded her in death on July 8, 2014.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Dana Wiley (Mike) Overlingas; son, Ford James Auchter, Jr. (Janette); brother, Jack Cearfoss; granddaughter, Emma Overlingas; grandson, Kyle Auchter and granddaughter, Kara Auchter.

In addition to her parents and husband, Darlene was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Meyer and a brother, Bob Cearfoss.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 22, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hermitage, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Entombment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
