YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Reports said no one was injured early Thursday morning after someone fired several shots at an apartment in the 1400 block of Rosewood Avenue.

Reports said police were called to the home just after 5 a.m., where a man told them the sound of gunfire woke him up. Police found evidence of at least four bullet strikes in the apartment, including one that narrowly missed a sleeping child.

Four 9mm shell casings were found in the street, reports said.

Reports said the people in the apartment have lived there for several years and thought that the gunfire may have been intended for someone else and that their apartment was shot at by accident.
