Assisted living facility in Poland hosts vow renewal ceremony

POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Sweetest Day is Saturday but some people in Poland got a jump on sharing the love on Friday.

A special vow renewal ceremony was held Friday at Poland Village Assisted Living.

Several couples, including some residents, got to renew their wedding vows.

The ceremony was followed by a luncheon, dancing, cake cutting, and a bouquet and garter toss.

“There’s actually no secret. You have arguments, you have fights — we’ve had them all. We’ve had some great times together,” Michael Delucia said. “Great, I tell you. It’s been great. I’d do it all over again.”

This is the third year for the ceremony, which was held by Poland Village Assisted Living, Cornerstone Caregiving, and Akeso Home Health and Hospice.
