Friday’s five TD’s give Sharon a share of conference title

SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – District X, Region 4 was on the line Friday night as Sharon, unbeaten in conference play, took on a Titusville squad who entered Friday night with only one conference loss.

But there was no doubt in this one as Sharon claimed a share of the conference title in blowout fashion in a 63-22 victory over the Rockets. The Tigers were led by Isaac Friday’s five touchdowns in the game.

Friday’s first score came in the opening quarter as the Tigers took a 16-0 lead after one.

Friday added three more touchdowns, bringing his first-half total to four, in the second and Sharon took a 36-16 lead into halftime.

Friday ran in his fifth touchdown late in the third quarter.

Sharon (8-1) is scheduled to host Brooke, WV in Week 10.
