PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to start veteran Russell Wilson at quarterback on Sunday night against the New York Jets.

The report states that Wilson and fellow quarterback Justin Fields are both expected to play in the primetime affair.

Wilson took the bulk of the first-team reps for Pittsburgh at practice this week.

He has missed all six regular season games to this point with a calf injury.

The Steelers and Jets will kickoff on Sunday night at 8:20 p.m. at Acrisure Stadium.
