    Mount Union, Echeverry run wild in another big win

    ALLIANCE, Ohio (WKBN) – Mount Union running back Tyler Echeverry rushed for a game-high 173 yards during a 52-10 win over Heidelberg on Saturday in Division III football action.

    The senior carried the ball 16 times and gained 10.8 yards per tote while adding two rushing touchdowns as the Purple Raiders tallied 317 total rushing yards as a team.

    Purple Raiders quarterback Noah Beaudrie completed 8-of-10 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown while adding three more touchdowns on the ground.

    Former West Branch standout and current Mount Union quarterback TJ Deshields also found the end zone on the ground during the fourth quarter.

    With the win, Mount improves to 6-0 on the season and 5-0 in conference play as they travel to Ohio Northern on Saturday, Oct. 26 for a 1:30 p.m. scheduled kickoff.
