Norma Jean Collins, Warren, Ohio

WARREN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Norma Jean Collins, 88, of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Continuing Health Care at the Ridge.

She was born November 28, 1935 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Clayton Hensley and Opal (Coleman) Hensley.

On April 23rd 1953 she married Earl G. Collins and they spent the next 56 years together until his passing in 2010.

Norma kept a clean and tidy home and was known for her good southern cooking. She loved her Warren Baptist Temple Family.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Darla J. (Lauro) Corradi of Carnesville, Georgia, son, Jeffrey E. Collins of Warren, Ohio, brothers; Bill (Janet) Hensley of Niles, Ohio; James (Nancy) Hensley of Girard, Ohio and a granddaughter, Megan M. Corradi of Westminster, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Earl G. Collins and brothers, Ben (Betty) Hensley and Jerry Hensley.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Warren Baptist Temple, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate.

Friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home , and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers please make any memorial contributions to the Warren Baptist Temple, 2093 Ewalt Avenue NE, Warren, OH 44483, in Norma’s memory.
