    Top 5 Plays of Week 10: Spectacular catches and INT’s highlight

    YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The regular season for high school football has concluded in the Valley as teams are preparing for the playoffs.

    Many players caught our attention for the final week of the regular season for our Top Five Plays of Week 10.

    Play No. 5 : Mineral Ridge vs. McDonald. Mineral Ridge’s Owen Shingledecker throws to Brady Balestrino for an amazing first down catch. However, McDonald outlasts Mineral Ridge, 33-14.

    Play No. 4 : Warren Harding vs. Austintown Fitch. Warren Harding’s James Jones throws to Jamaal Martin for a leaping 26-yard touchdown. Harding wins, 35-21.

    Play No. 3 : Poland vs. Struthers in WKBN’s Game of the Week. Poland’s Vito Komara jumps the route and intercepts the quarterback for a game-sealing interception. Poland wins, 14-7.

    Play No. 2 : Ursuline vs. Cardinal Mooney. Ursuline’s DC Ferrell rushes for a 75-yard touchdown run. Ursuline wins, 30-0.

    Play No. 1 : United vs. East Palestine. United’s Parker Newburn throws to Kota Shasteen who made an incredible bobbling catch for a touchdown. Shasteen helps United win, 51-12, and earns our Top Play of Week 10.
