'It makes me happy': Taste of Country draws nearly 20,000 fans to Sahlen Field

Friday night's Taste of Country drew nearly 20,000 fans to Sahlen Field.

One concertgoer, Megan Munro, says country music brings people together.

"It makes me happy," said Munro. "I just love listening to country music with my friends."

The 2024 lineup included artists like Old Dominion, Chayce Beckham, and Shaboozey.

"We got about 15 people coming," said Jennifer Stranc. "It's all about spending time with family and just enjoying all the music and the excitement."

Megan Carter of 106.5 WYRK said the City of Good Neighbors can relate to the meaning behind country music.

"Buffalo is full of hard-working people," said Carter. "What better way to represent that than country music? People who sing about their trials and tribulations of life that they can relate to."
