The Oldest Restaurant Chain in the World Has 37 Michigan Locations
Spring is here in Michigan, which means it's time to get out to a root beer stand and enjoy a pop and a coney dog. Personally, I'm not a root beer drinker, but when I think of root beer, I think of A&W. That's because it's one of my favorite restaurants. But the next time I sit down for a bacon double cheeseburger with onion rings, I'll have a bit of trivia in the back of my mind.

Two Michigan Natives To Wrestle For USA In Olympics
The Olympics is one of the biggest athletic events in the entire world, I would argue that it is the biggest and the only thing that comes close is the World Cup. Almost every country is glued to their TV screens and watching their sports apps for updates on the games and who has the most medals. The Olympics is meant to find out which country is athletically better than the others. In recent years, the United States has dominated the Olympics and will look to continue that trend at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

2024 Michigan Summer Could Be ‘Hottest On Record’
Michigan's weather has been all kinds of crazy the past couple of years. Smashed between Record Highs, Record Lows, and abnormally low (and high) amounts of snow and rain across the state, it's really tough to plan what the weather could be like for Michigan this Spring and summer. Thankfully,...
What You Can Do to Stop TikTok Ban in Michigan
The TikTok ban will deliver a huge blow to Michigan's economy. What can we do to stop it?. TikTok has an estimated 150 million American users and about 5 million businesses using the app for a significant part of their income. There are no solid numbers on how many small businesses in Michigan rely on the popular social media app. However, we know this will hurt a lot of small businesses and have a substantial impact on Michigan's economy. Nobody is buying the "national security" reason that Washington DC is trying to serve us. This is about censorship. If we take a look at the number of highly influential companies in the U.S. that China owns or controls, it would blow your mind. So, why pick on TikTok? They are trying to silence the voices of citizens on important matters like Ukraine, Palestine, and our elections. Contact your Michigan Senators today and tell them you will vote them out of office if they silence our voices by banning TikTok. When you call your elected officials, be respectful, but direct. Calling is most impactful, but you can also email and tag them on social media.
Is It Illegal To Cross A Purple Fence In Michigan?
Do not enter any property in Michigan that is marked with purple. When you see a purple fence while you're hiking, it's probably not a huge Prince fan. The purple is used to keep hunters and hikers off of private property. If you see purple paint marking a fence or trees while you're out in the woods, you need to turn around in Michigan. Purple paint is a sign of no trespassing in many states. The "Purple Paint" bill in Michigan passed the Senate 35-2 on May 24th, 2006, and then became law after passing in the House of Representatives on June 8th, 2006 according to MichiganVotes.org,
New Indoor Adventure Park Coming To West Michigan
Often the residents in Michigan and the surrounding states say that the West side of the state is boring and it's hard to argue against that point as the East side has many more attractions and larger cities closer together. The west side of the state was popping when the beach scene was larger, Kalamazoo had the State Theatre rocking, and Battle Creek had Kellogg's. Now, Grand Rapids has taken over the west side and is the only city that gets respect.
