    Mobile police arrest Theodore man accused of trying to cash fraudulent check

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Officers with the Mobile Police Department arrested a man they said tried to cash a fraudulent check.

    According to an MPD news release, officers were called to Trustmark Bank at 5328 Highway 90 around 4 p.m. Thursday, July 11, for a report of “a fraudulent check being presented to a teller.”

    INCIDENT LOCATION:

    Officers arrived and found that the suspect, now identified as 39-year-old Dustin Michael McKinnon, had attempted to cash the check, according to the release.

    McKinnon is charged with first-degree attempted theft of property, third-degree possession of a forged instrument and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    it's going to come to a point to where MPD is not going to be able to handle the South American gangs soon as they get good and organized MPD is going to have a big problem on their hands
